For the past 12 years, Niceville High School has reigned as the top high school athletic program.  This year, Fort Walton Beach is crowned the area's top athletic program.  They are the recipient of this years Freedom Award, an honor given annualy to the area's top overall athletic program.The boys weightlifting team won the state title this year, and track, football, cross country, and swimming teams also did very well.
