This past weekend, service began for the new Gulf Coast International Airport in Panama City, known as the Northwest Florida International Airport.

Southwest Airlines is adding eight additional flights to Delta’s already eleven daily flights. That brings the total to nineteen flights per day out of the airport.

A huge potential for the Gulf Coast of Northwest Florida opens with direct international connections.  The International traffic has been a larger and larger portion of the business coming in to the area.
