According to the NOAA oil plume model, the oil spill is 55 miles southwest of Pensacola,
100 miles from Port St. Joe, and 275 miles from Clearwater.

Despite light sheen entrained in the loop current, no direct oil impacts from any part of the
plume are expected along the Florida coastline within at least the next 72 hours.
